You can now get your breakfast fix at Bar Vetti, 800 S. 4th St., in the 800 Tower City Club Apartments.
Starting this week, you can get breakfast from 7-11 a.m. Monday-Friday, which includes counter service or dining room self-seating as well as grab-and-go pastries and fruit.
The menu features frittata with spinach, potato, Parmesan and arugula salad; Louismill grits with a soft boiled egg, jowl bacon, and Parmesan; and traditional egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches with the option to add Jake’s country sausage, Broadbent country ham or fried mortadella.
A section devoted to crostino (Blue Dog Bakery sourdough toast) features toppings including avocado with “everything crunch” and salmon roe; housemade buttermilk ricotta with walnuts and orange marmalade; sausage gravy with chives; and Nutella with banana, local honey and hazelnuts. Italian donuts called Bombolini with apple butter are also on offer.
Bar Vetti will offer coffee, tea and traditional espresso drinks as well as cold brew. Lunch service will also be added in the coming weeks.
