City Club Apartments, an owner, developer and manager of urban mid-rise and high-rise apartments and penthouses, helped to support Toys for Tots by providing a check for $10,000 and collecting toy donations at all 30 City Club Apartment communities.
Toys were collected in the City Club Apartments communities in Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The toys collected, along with the monetary donation from City Club Apartments, helped provide toys to children whose parents could not afford them.
“We are committed to making a difference in the neighborhood communities in which we operate,” said Jonathan Holtzman, co-founder, co-chairman and chief executive officer of City Club Apartments, in a statement. ”We applaud our residents who partnered with us to give back and know these donations have brought joy to children in our communities.”
Holtzman’s devotion to charitable initiatives and sustainability has also been put into action through the Holtzman Wildlife Foundation, whose mission is to create a better future for endangered wildlife through education, advocacy and repopulation. The Foundation has donated millions of dollars to organizations worldwide supporting animals such as lemurs, river dolphins, orangutans, Grauer’s gorillas, penguins, and red pandas with most recently funding and opening and red panda exhibit at the Detroit Zoo.
