8/31/2016 800 Tower City Apartments partners with BCH for public relations

Bandy Carroll Hellige (BCH), a marketing communications agency with offices in Louisville and Indianapolis, has been selected as the public relations firm for 800 Tower City Apartments, an iconic residential building in downtown Louisville.

800 Tower City Apartments, previously known as the The 800 Apartments, originally began construction in 1961 and was completed in 1963. The 29-story building, located at 800 South Fourth Street, was the tallest building in Louisville until 1971. It is currently undergoing $11 million in renovations to transform it into a modern apartment building with many premium amenities, including a rooftop pool and club room, theater room, on-site restaurant, 24/7/365 concierge services, and unbeatable panoramic views of the city of Louisville.

Renamed 800 Tower City Apartments, the building’s transformation is being led by owner, Jonathan Holtzman of City Club Apartments, known for his highly successful downtown apartment developments in other cities, including Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis. The apartment building is managed by Detroit-based Village Green.

“BCH is honored to be a part of this amazing rebirth of a community icon,” said Mark Carroll, a partner with BCH. “I remember how important this building once was in the city of Louisville, and as it transforms into premiere high-rise apartments, we look forward to helping tell an exciting new chapter in its storied history.”

The massive renovation is expected to be completed in the fall.

BCH will provide strategic communications planning, media relations, community relations and social media services for 800 Tower City Apartments.
